Fine metals and the sliding scale of karats: 10k, 12k, 14k, 16k, 18k, 24k. You can usually tell the level of karat by the color of the gold. Lighter the gold, less in karat. Gold Plated
Less than 1% gold that is bonded to the metal alloy (jewelry brass). It's more of a finish to a metal, think of it a as garment dyed but in metal form.

Production & Fulfillment
Please allow up 7 business days (Mondays to Fridays) to fulfill your order. During peak season, high sales volume and holidays, do allow up to 2-4 weeks. We process our orders accordingly oldest to newest. Majority of our styles are made to order, if we do not have the immediate styles in backstock that is ready to ship. This does not include shipping time frame. Please factor this in when you're placing an order for gift and have a specific deadline is needed.
Shipping
We pleased to announce, we are shipping our goods world wide.
We offer a flat rate of $10 USPS First Class (3 - 5 business days) shipping on domestic orders, we do have a tier shipping rate of $15 USPS Priority (1-3 business days) shipping and a $25 flat rate shipping charge on all International orders.
Our shipping carrier is currently being handled through United States Postal Service.
Order Cancellation
You have an one hour time frame window after placing your order to cancel or void your order. Due to majority of jewelry is made to order, we have to fulfill orders as they come in the timely manner. We can not stop or pause the order once it is already queued into line for production.
International Shipping Tax and Duties
If the customer refused to pay duty tax and parcels have been returned to sender. Thesis of Alexandria is not responsible for any activities such as missing packages, lost tracking with a shipping carrier and abandon by customs.
Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. The 14 days starts from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Only regular full priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale or promotional discounted items (including promotional codes) cannot be returned. Trade show items are discounted from the retail price thus being categorized as a sale item.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable
- Items purchased on sale, discount or promotions (including the use of promo codes).
- Third party items: Leather Essentials, Greeting Cards, Jewelry Storage, Artisanal Candles or Scents.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges
Items purchased at full priced can be exchanged for any other item or a store credit issued.
Gift Cards
No promotions or discounts can be applied in purchasing a gift card. Refunds or exchanges or redeemable in cash value is not permitted. Our gift cards are all digital and sent via email. They are redeemable online through our website only. Gift cards do not expire.
Order Cancellation

Price Adjustments
Unfortunately, we do not practice or offer price adjustments. Promotions change frequently and orders must be placed during the timeframe to get the offer at the time of checkout.
Final Sale Items
Items that are non-jewelry in category such as; gift cards, greeting cards, jewelry storage, artisanal candles or scents are final sale. No exchanges or returns will be accepted. We take the time to highly curate and edit our third party merchandise through designers and crafters we love.
Late or Missing Refunds
Please allow 3-5 business days for a refund to post on to your account. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@thesisofalexandria.com.
Sale or Promotional Items

Shipping
To return your product, reach out to us via email for instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you request for a prepaid return shipping label, a $10 charge for return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
